Disabled teacher says dog is 'lifeline' in her science lab

A disabled teacher named Emma Smith from the UK has described her assistance dog, Mollie, as a "lifeline" that has significantly improved her quality of life. Emma, who suffers from multiple sclerosis and epilepsy, relies on Mollie to help with daily tasks such as picking up dropped items, opening doors, and providing stability during epileptic seizures. Mollie, a Labrador Retriever, was trained by the charity Support Dogs and has been instrumental in allowing Emma to maintain her independence and continue teaching. Emma expressed that without Mollie, she would struggle immensely, highlighting the profound impact the dog has had on her life.
