Nvidia Corp., Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. and Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., better known as Foxconn, announced Sunday a partnership to build an advanced AI supercomputer in Taiwan, significantly expanding the island's artificial intelligence capabilities.
Nvidia, TSMC, and Foxconn have partnered to develop an AI supercomputer in Taiwan, aiming to enhance the region's AI capabilities and drive technological innovation. The project, named the "Taiwan Computing Cloud" (TWCC), will leverage Nvidia's advanced AI technologies, TSMC's semiconductor manufacturing expertise, and Foxconn's extensive manufacturing and supply chain capabilities. This collaboration is expected to not only boost Taiwan's position in the global AI landscape but also support various industries by providing powerful computing resources for research and development in fields such as autonomous vehicles, healthcare, and smart cities.
