Mbale SSS will honour its past in June through different activities that include fundraising for their Shs4b science hub
Mbale Secondary School is set to launch a Shs4 billion science hub aimed at enhancing science education in the region. The hub, which will be constructed on a 1.5-acre piece of land donated by the school's board of governors, will feature state-of-the-art laboratories for physics, chemistry, and biology, as well as a computer lab and a library. The project is being funded by the government through the Uganda Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfers (UGIFT) program, with additional support from the school's alumni and other well-wishers. The science hub is expected to not only improve the quality of science education at Mbale SS but also serve as a resource center for other schools in the region.
