LAS VEGAS, NEVADA--(Marketwire - April 2, 2009) - Trimax Corporation (OTCBB:TMXN) is pleased to announce that the management of the company has elected Mr. Robert S. Stewart as Chairman, Director and CEO of the Company. Since 1976, Mr. Stewart has been Chairman of several world-class mining companies including America Mineral Fields Corp. (TSX), Interop A.G. (Swiss), consulted Chairmen, and been a joint venture partner of several of the world's largest mining and engineering companies including Falconbridge, Sherritt, KruppThyssen (Germany), CDC (London), Electrowatt (Switzerland), Hudson's Bay Mining/Minorca (South Africa) and Bechtel Civil and Minerals Inc. (US and London).

He is on the Board of ICS Copper Services LLC with copper and cobalt mining/metallurgical projects in Zambia and the DR Congo. Mr. Stewart completed multi-billion dollar Master Plans for the development of several mineral-rich countries with giant mining projects completed in the DR Congo, Botswana, Oman, Uganda, Cameroon, Canada and the Songo Songo Gas Project in Tanzania. He graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1968 with a BA as a Political Economist.

Under Mr. Stewart's leadership, Trimax will develop several strategic gold, silver, copper and calcite mining claims in the municipality of Alamos, Sonora, Mexico. South Sonora in the Alamos area mining district is internationally renowned for its multi-metallic mining properties containing vast amounts of minerals including, gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, graphite and tungsten. Mining records show that this area was first successfully developed by the Spanish in the 16th century and is considered the richest precious metal zone in the world.
