Advent Software, Inc.: Advent Software Appoints Christine S. Manfredi to Board of Directors
SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - March 31, 2009) - Advent Software, Inc. (

Ms. Manfredi is currently an independent business advisor. She retired from Wellington Management Company, LLP in December 2008, having joined the firm in December 1988 and served as a Partner since 1996. From 1988 to 2008, she was Director of Investment Administration and elected Senior Vice President in 1996. As Director of Investment Administration, Ms. Manfredi was responsible for client and fund administration, investment operations, performance services and client cash flow processes.
Prior to joining Wellington, Ms. Manfredi held several senior management positions at Shawmut Bank from 1983 to 1988. As Senior Vice President of the Mutual Fund division, she was responsible for mutual fund administration, custody and shareholder services. As Division Head of the Investment Securities division, Ms. Manfredi was responsible for Shawmut's securities processing, custody and safekeeping and stock transfer functions.
