Tekelec: Tekelec Executive to Highlight Flexible, Scalable Networks at BRIC: Emerging Mobile Markets

MORRISVILLE, NC--(Marketwire - March 24, 2009) - An executive from [ Tekelec ] (NASDAQ: [ TKLC ]), the network signaling, mobile messaging and performance management company, will present on the need for next-generation signaling and SMS solutions at the [ BRIC: Emerging Mobile Markets ] conference. The March 31 event in Las Vegas precedes [ International CTIA WIRELESS 2009® ] and is an official show partner.

Attendees will hear how the increase in broadband-enabled networks and mobile messaging in BRIC countries -- Brazil, Russia, India and China -- are pushing wireless operators towards hybrid and next-generation networks. Vince Lesch, vice president at Tekelec, will provide strategies for operators in these and other fast-growth economies to:
