TORONTO--(Marketwire - February 9, 2009) - Secure Runway Systems Corp. (OTCBB: [ SRWY ]) announced today the appointment of Reno J. Calabrigo as Chairman, President and Director of the Corporation, and the appointment of Cornelia Volino as Secretary, Treasurer and Director.

The Company further announced the resignation of Hilary Vieira, as Chairman, President, Secretary, Treasurer and Director. Mr. Vieira will continue to provide valuable assistance to the Company and has been appointed Technical Advisor.

Secure Runway is focused primarily on the aviation sector and is in the design and development stage of a leading edge airport runway scanning system to detect Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
