HERNDON, VA--(Marketwire - February 9, 2009) - XO Communications (OTCBB: [ XOHO ]) today announced that it has deployed a nationwide MPLS IP-VPN solution for Gold's Gym, the largest full service gym chain in the world and the most recognized name in fitness.

XO Communications is providing a fully managed MPLS-based IP-VPN solution connecting 57 Gold's Gym corporate locations across the U.S., including major offices in Venice, Calif. and Falls Church, Va. and its data center and headquarters in Dallas, Texas. The XO solution provides Gold's Gym with a secure, private IP network with Class of Service capabilities and high-speed Ethernet access to support optimal performance for access to corporate applications, company databases, email, point of sale transactions and the company's migration to Voice over IP (VoIP).
