Park Electrochemical Corp. Announces Appointment of Ronald Brett as President of Park?s Asian Business Unit
MELVILLE, N.Y.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE:PKE) announced the appointment of Ronald Brett as President of Nelco Products Pte. Ltd., Park's high-technology electronics circuitry materials and advanced composite materials subsidiary located in Singapore. Mr. Brett will also serve as President of Nelco Technology (Zhuhai FTZ) Ltd., Park's electronics circuitry materials subsidiary located in Zhuhai, China. Mr. Brett will be located in Singapore, and he will continue to report to Brian Shore, Park's President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Brett had been President of Neltec Europe SAS, Park's circuitry materials business unit located in Mirebeau, France, since his appointment to that position in September 2005. Mr. Brett was Director of Operations for Neltec Europe's sister company, New England Laminates (U.K.) Limited located in Skelmersdale, England, from 1995 to 2000 and was Managing Director of Dielektra GmbH located in Cologne, Germany, from 2000 to 2004. New England Laminates (U.K.) Limited and Dielektra GmbH were also subsidiaries of Park Electrochemical Corp. Mr. Brett held several technical and management positions of increasing responsibility for the Ever Ready Company and the Varta Company in Germany, Singapore and the U.K. prior to joining New England Laminates (U.K.) Limited in 1995. Mr. Brett received a BSc (Honors) degree in Chemistry from Southhampton University in 1969.
