Tekelec: Tekelec to Join MobiMedia 2009 Panel on the Future of Wireless

Dorgham Sisalem, Ph.D., director of next-generation network (NGN) signaling solutions with Tekelec and co-founder of iptel.org, will participate on the panel with:
-- Dr. Gunther Auer, of the wireless technology research group for NTT DOCOMO Euro-Labs in Germany
-- Professor Harald Haas, from University of Edinburgh, U.K.
-- Professor William Webb, head of research and development at U.K. communications regulator Ofcom
The panel is scheduled for September 8 at 5 p.m. Sisalem, representing the only telecommunications solution provider on the panel, will address how suppliers can help operators migrate to session initiation protocol (SIP)-based NGNs.
Sisalem is a contributor to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), the organization that records protocol standards, best practices, and technical and engineering documents to improve the Internet.
