Compellen Technologies: Compellent Received Highest Possible Ratings by Enterprise End Users in TheInfoPro Storage Study

The results of the report show that customers gave Compellent higher ratings than did customers of key competitors. TheInfoPro is an independent research network and leading supplier of market intelligence to the IT industry. The Storage Wave 12 Study reports several key areas of the storage market including spending plans and data center projects in 2009 in addition to the adoption and integration of new storage technologies. This data is collected from interviews with IT decision-makers at North American mid-sized and large enterprises.

The Wave Studies include a "Promise Index" -- which measures customer ratings on each vendor's technical innovation, competitive positioning, management's strategic vision and brand/reputation -- and a "Fulfillment Index" -- which measures customer ratings of value for the money, product quality, delivery of promise and technical support. For both the SAN market and storage networking market categories, Compellent received a Promise Index score of 94 out of 100 and a Fulfillment Index score of 100 out of 100, the highest scores for any SAN vendor in use.
