


Cubic Corporation: Cubic to Support Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Training as Part of Winning Contractor Team

The team will draw on Cubic's extensive technical knowledge and proven functional expertise. Cubic will initially support five of the 16 installations covered by the task order for the U.S. Army Home Station Training Improvised Explosive Device - Defeat Lane Red Teams. Red Teaming allows Commanders to develop decision-making skills for planning and operations by anticipating the perceptions and actions of partners, adversaries and others.
Cubic provides similar training for soldiers attending courses at the U.S. Army Transportation School and U.S. Army Quartermaster Center and School during convoy operations training exercises at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia. Under a separate contract, another Cubic division supplies scenario development, role players and battlefield effects experts for counter IED training at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, Louisiana. In addition, Cubic has a team with the Army Center for Lessons Learned at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, that is responsible for tracking IED-related information and providing support for the development and distribution of lessons learned to soldiers worldwide.
Parsons Operations and Services Sector will manage the team and will ensure complete resourcing and rapid, professional responsiveness to Headquarters, Installation Management Command (IMCOM), Operations Division requirements.
