Lattice Semiconductor Corporation: Industry and Technology Veteran Hans Schwarz Joins Lattice Semiconductor Board of Directors

HILLSBORO, OR--(Marketwire - June 4, 2009) - Lattice Semiconductor (NASDAQ: [ LSCC ]) today announced the appointment of Hans Schwarz to its Board of Directors. Mr. Schwarz was most recently with The Galleon Group as Managing Director of the Galleon Crossover Fund, where he was responsible for searching and selecting innovative, technology- or market-leading companies for venture funding. Mr. Schwarz also worked with and guided the management of selected companies on strategic as well as operational issues.

Until July 2007, Mr. Schwarz served as Xilinx's Vice President of Business Strategy and Corporate Development. Between 1995 and 2007, Mr. Schwarz was responsible for Xilinx's corporate strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, venture investments and corporate partnerships. He joined Xilinx in 1992 as a product marketing director. Prior to joining Xilinx, Mr. Schwarz was with Chips and Technologies, LSI Logic Corporation and Fairchild Semiconductor with a broad range of senior executive responsibilities including product marketing and systems engineering. Mr. Schwarz holds a BS in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Santa Clara University.
