Convergys Wins Renewed Contract with Insight Communications as Sole BSS Solution Provider

CINCINNATI & NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--[ Convergys Corporation ] (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in [ relationship management ], announced today that Insight Communications, a full-service communications company providing phone, high-speed internet, and video services to more than 760,000 customers in the Midwest, has renewed its longstanding contract for Convergys' relationship management solutions for another three years.

Convergys will continue to supply Insight Communications with the state-of-the-art ICOMS b[ usiness support solution ], which is built specifically to support cable and media providers. This industry-leading solution with built-in integrated, convergent, billing provides Insight with the scalability it needs to support its 760,000 customers, as well as a universal view of its customers regardless of the number of services.

With Convergys' BSS solution, Insight will continue to collect revenue from video, high-speed data, and telephony customers via a single, cost efficient platform. It will also have the ability to launch innovative new marketing campaigns and targeted advanced service offerings.
