(NASDAQ: [ NTGR ]), a worldwide provider of technologically advanced, branded networking products is using Cavium's OCTEON Multicore MIPS64® processors to power the NETGEAR ProSafe® Wireless-N VPN Firewall SRXN3205. The highly integrated product includes four Gigabit LAN ports and dual band Wireless-N Access Point that enables high bandwidth connectivity for all users. The product offers two types of virtual private network (VPN) tunnels, namely Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and IP security (IPsec) to provide optimal secure connections for small and medium enterprise users.
