Great Clips Franchisees Gain Reliability at the Front End with Turnkey NCR POS and Services Solution

DAYTON, Ohio--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Great Clips, the largest single-brand hair care franchisor in North America, has announced a three-year agreement with [ NCR Corporation ] (NYSE: NCR) to offer a turnkey, bundled point-of-sale (POS) solution to more than 2,700 franchised salons throughout the United States and Canada. The customized POS solution is designed to maximize front-end uptime through reliable technology and the availability of extensive support services.

Developed collaboratively by NCR and Great Clips, the POS package includes the retail-hardened NCR RealPOS™ 70 workstation, preloaded Great Clips StyleWare custom software, and peripherals including an NCR thermal printer. To ensure the solution is ready when needed, the technology is backed by an extensive services program in which the salon receives Help Desk support as well as five-year, same-day, on-site maintenance coverage. Professional on-site installation is also available to the salons.
