Ikanos' Fusiv Vx180 is a low power, multi-mode gateway processor that incorporates a MIPS-based™ CPU core, voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) capabilities, security and best-in-class quality of service. The robust single-chip processor brings together innovative noise mitigation technologies and deep packet inspection capabilities, enabling the development of a high performance residential gateway or a SME gateway for multi-play and security applications.
