ORLANDO, FL--(Marketwire - February 17, 2009) - Cubic Simulation Systems, Inc, a subsidiary of San Diego-based Cubic Corporation (NYSE: [ CUB ]), has been notified of an award from the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation's Omnibus Contract II (STOC II) contract. STOC II is a multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract with a $17.5 billion cap. The contract term is up to 10 years. STOC II will be managed by Cubic Simulation Systems in Orlando. Terry Kohl, Vice President and General Manager of the division, said: "Cubic is very pleased to be awarded this STOC II contract. It will enable all Cubic divisions to continue to provide our customers with quality products and services for Army training."

The Cubic Simulation Systems Division is part of the defense segment of Cubic Corporation, a world leader in realistic combat training systems, mission support services and defense electronics.
