WATSONVILLE, CA--(Marketwire - May 20, 2009) - Aerius International (PINKSHEETS: [ AERS ]), a high-tech company in the U.S., announced it has developed, tested and proven a new antenna design inside cell phones that can save the cellular industry over 1.2 million tons of cell site carbon dioxide emissions per year in the U.S.

"This first-of-its-kind antenna allows cell sites to work better using 50% less power that can lower emissions of carbon dioxide 5 tons per year per cell site," said Greg Johnson, Aerius CTO.
