SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - May 14, 2009) - Riverbed Technology (NASDAQ: [ RVBD ]), the IT infrastructure performance company for networks, applications and storage, today announced that it will participate at EMC World 2009 taking place May 18 - 21 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. In addition to visiting the Riverbed® booth (#737), attendees can listen to Riverbed spokesperson Nik Rouda provide insight on the role of wide area network (WAN) optimization in EMC® replication environments.

Riverbed Steelhead® appliances allow companies to accelerate disaster recovery processes while reducing overall IT costs. To address the concerns of organizations with large data centers and strategic disaster recovery initiatives, Riverbed [ recently announced ] it has obtained EMC qualification for its Steelhead appliances to work with EMC SRDF®/A (Symmetrix Remote Data Facility/Asynchronous).
