Wave Systems Corp.: Media Advisory: Wave to Demonstrate Advanced Network Access Control at Interop, Ensuring Only Trusted, Comp
LEE, MA--(Marketwire - May 13, 2009) - Wave Systems Corp. (
Solution: Wave Systems' EMBASSY® Endpoint Enforcer effectively addresses lying endpoints by performing health status verification and platform assessments of the remote user's endpoint and NAC software using a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) security chip, a microcontroller on the motherboard of the PC. Wave's EMBASSY Endpoint Enforcer uses hardware security to validate and extend the security of Juniper Networks' SA Series SSL Virtual Private Network (VPN) Appliance, which provides user and device authentication, endpoint health checking and secure remote access to remote users.
Wave's EMBASSY Endpoint Enforcer, in conjunction with additional EMBASSY software, provides a complete solution for data at rest and provides strong, layered authentication to the network. This is accomplished by using the machine identity protected in hardware to ensure that only authorized and healthy PCs can access the network, while maintaining hardware-protected volume encryption of data.
Where: Interop 2009, Las Vegas. Demonstrations at the Trusted Computing Group's booth (#869)
When: May 17-22, 2009
