- More than 140 communications service providers worldwide have selected or extended their use of Oracle® Communications applications in Oracle's most recent fiscal year -- June 2008 through May 2009 -- optimizing IT systems and networks to help lower operational costs and risk, while accelerating time to market and driving service innovation.

CTBC required a scalable system to accelerate its provisioning cycle and ensure accurate timely service delivery, while reducing operational costs.
- [ SFR Réunion ], the subsidiary of French mobile phone provider SFR operating on the island of Réunion, France, recently selected a comprehensive suite of Oracle products including [ Oracle's Siebel CRM ], [ Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management ], [ Oracle Application Integration Architecture for Communications ], [ Oracle Database ] and [ Oracle SOA Suite ] to help the provider compete in a market that has grown increasingly competitive. SFR Réunion will work with Logica on the implementation.

This selection comes after Tikona's extensive implementation of Oracle Applications and infrastructure software to support its rapid launch of next-generation broadband services to residential and enterprise customers. Tikona completed the full implementation in close to 90 days, including a 32-day implementation of [ Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 ] with New Generation Consultants and India's first deployment of Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management, completed by Tech Mahindra.
