FRANKFURT, GERMANY and STUTTGART, GERMANY--(Marketwire - February 17, 2009) - IBM (NYSE: [ IBM ]) has been selected by Deutsche Bank, a leading global financial institution, to transform the integration testing part of its application service delivery for Private & Business Clients and Global Banking. In terms of the agreement, standardized managed services will be implemented as part of a new strategic service delivery framework.

Core to the contract will be the establishment of a testing utility center, covering integration testing for all major IT applications. The integration testing services will now be bundled with IBM and delivered out of IBM India.

Deutsche Bank is taking a leading edge approach realizing an IBM on demand model that is unique in the industry. Deutsche Bank aims to optimize IT costs, to increase productivity and quality of delivery, following the strategy of an industrialization of IT services.

The contract was signed in December 2008.
