Virtusa Files Resale Shelf Registration

WESTBOROUGH, Mass.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Virtusa Corporation (NASDAQ: VRTU), a global information technology (IT) services company that provides IT consulting, technology implementation and application outsourcing services through an enhanced global delivery model, today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-3 with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to the resale of up to 1,643,611 shares of common stock by certain existing stockholders of the Company. Virtusa Corporation is not selling any shares of common stock in this offering and therefore will not receive any proceeds from any sale of securities offered by this registration statement.

The primary purpose of such a public offering would be to facilitate the orderly sale of shares by certain existing stockholders pursuant to the Companya™s contractual obligations under a registration rights agreement with such stockholders.
