Symantec Extends Agreement With HP to Distribute Norton Internet Security on Consumer PCs Worldwide

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - June 10, 2010) - Symantec Corp. (NASDAQ: [ SYMC ]) today announced the signing of a multi-year extension to its existing contract with HP, the world's largest PC manufacturer. Under the terms of the agreement, HP consumer desktop, laptop and netbook PCs will ship worldwide with a full-featured, complimentary 60-day subscription of Norton Internet Security, the industry's fastest, lightest security suite.

Norton Internet Security detects and eliminates online threats and prevents cybercriminals from stealing consumers' identity and hard-earned cash, so they can surf, shop, and bank online safely.
