Polycom's New President and CEO Appointed to Board of Directors

PLEASANTON, CA--(Marketwire - June 17, 2010) - [ Polycom ], Inc. (NASDAQ: [ PLCM ]), the global leader in telepresence, video and voice communications solutions, announced today that its new President and CEO, [ Andrew Miller ], has been appointed to serve on its Board of Directors, with a term as a director commencing immediately.

As previously [ announced ] on May 10, 2010, Mr. Miller was named president and chief executive officer. Prior to this, Mr. Miller served as Polycom's executive vice president of Global Field Operations.
