REDWOOD CITY, CA and BEIJING and MILAN, ITALY--(Marketwire - June 10, 2010) - BroadVision (NASDAQ: [ BVSN ]), a pioneer in e-business and enterprise social networking solutions, today unveiled its plans for Clearvale SecondFloor (CSF), a global consulting community that matches some of the best thinkers and practitioners in social technology with businesses and partners that are innovating on the Clearvale™ network. CSF will support Clearvale consultants with access to project opportunities, certification and training on Clearvale, an online customer community, and an event series. Announced last month, BroadVision's Clearvale is the world's first "networks of networks" for the social enterprise, providing businesses with the rules, tools, and infrastructure to instantly create high-performance enterprise social networks that make it possible for staff, partners, and customers to engage in an open, navigable Web-based environment. In addition to creating a professional services clearinghouse for Clearvale opportunities, CSF will provide consultants with education, training, and first looks at new concepts and technology in enterprise social networking.

Features of CSF:

  • Deal Flow -- Clearvale SecondFloor will match Clearvale projects with local consultants who can provide onsite counsel and execution.
  • Training and Certification -- CSF consultants will receive free training and certification on Clearvale, as well as first looks at new features and programs.
  • An Online Community -- Consultants will receive free membership in a global, online network of Clearvale customers and consultants. The community is scheduled to launch in July 2010.
  • Event Series -- CSF will launch a monthly series of events in Silicon Valley, bringing BroadVision technology and strategy experts together with consultants and customers to share knowledge, experiences and best practices. The first event, scheduled for July 14, features a Q&A with Charlene Li, founder of The Altimeter Group and author of the recent bestseller, "Open Leadership."

"A great deal of talent in social technology -- particularly in the emerging market known as Enterprise 2.0 -- resides in small, nimble, highly influential consultancies," said Giovanni Rodriguez, Chief Marketing Officer at BroadVision and Managing Director of Clearvale SecondFloor. "Many of our customers are looking at Clearvale as a platform for innovation, and they are seeking access to some of the best thinkers and doers in cross-company collaboration, marketing communications, and social business design. With Clearvale SecondFloor, we hope to engage with many of these consultants in the coming months and help drive the next wave of innovation in enterprise social networking."
