Stalker and Chameleon Blinds Received Large Orders at Farris Show
COTTAGE GROVE, Tenn., June 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cooper Hunting Industries, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SHAR), a specialty retailer marketing to outdoor and hunting enthusiasts is pleased to announce that the trade show hosted by Farris Brothers, Inc. was another great success. As expected, the Chameleon series lived up to its reputation.
This year Cooper was able to improve the quality and functionality of the Chameleon blind and still reduce production cost 40% by outsourcing its production to China. The results of the show were 94 units sold and 17 new retailers added to our list of some 200 +/- authorized dealers.
This year Cooper unveiled its new Stalker blind which was a big hit with the archery shops. Buyers found it to be unique because of its versatility and multi-functional capability. Weighing only 13 ounces, the Stalker is design to attach to the riser on a compound bow and is held on by the stabilizer. It has six limbs which can be folded to a desired position in a matter of seconds. Each limb is covered by leafy-flage material giving it a brush look to provide break up to the hunter. Additional limb covers can be purchased for different regions of the country. The Company is currently developing a new accessory which will allow the Stalker to be attached to a firearm as well. The Stalker functions as a bow stand, a sound barrier and most importantly a blind.
The biggest hit of the week was the beginning of negotiations for a private label for the Chameleon Series with one of the largest tree stand manufactures in the industry. During the course of the trade show, the Company entered into negotiations with one of the largest tree stand manufactures in the industry for a private label production of the Chameleon Series. Although negotiations are in the development stage, if successful Cooper should see substantial sales growth.
"The concept behind the Chameleon Blind is to have a fully functional blind which is easily transportable and works with any tree stand. It simply just makes good sense that Cooper teams up with a high quality, tree stand manufacturer to create a package the hunter just can't refuse," - Dan Cooper, President.
