TRAVERSE CITY, MI--(Marketwire - June 15, 2010) - [ Versus Technology, Inc. ] ("Versus") (PINKSHEETS: [ VSTI ]), the foremost provider of real-time locating systems ([ RTLS ]) to hospitals and clinics, today announced a partnership with [ Iatric Systems ], Inc. (Iatric), the leading MEDITECH integration services provider and one of the nation's fastest growing companies. The partnership will allow MEDITECH customers to easily add Versus RTLS data to existing systems for clinical location and automation.

For MEDITECH customers, there's real value in combining Versus' offering with Iatric's integration services. "In healthcare, things don't always happen as planned or without extra effort from caregivers," explains Paul Timmerman, VP of Versus. "Versus is different. We not only do not add work to staff, Versus also reduces the burden on caregivers." With Iatric's help, Versus is enabling automatic transfer of data and automatic updates to patient status to and from MEDITECH based on real-time patient locations and interactions. This means that MEDITECH customers using the [ Versus Advantages ] solution will be responsible for less manual data entry. Patient information captured by Versus will be shared automatically, with no time delay, ultimately allowing more timely patient care.

Joel Berman, President of Iatric System, Inc., notes, "Versus clearly recognizes the need to incorporate new technologies into the total HIS environment and the role that Iatric Systems can play in achieving that goal. We're pleased to be working with such an innovative company."

The first joint MEDITECH / Versus customer to benefit from this partnership with Iatric is [ Humber River ] Regional Hospital in Ontario, Canada, which plans to go-live with Versus Advantages later this summer.
