Mobiform Software, Inc.: Mobiform Software Releases Version 2.1 of the HMI/SCADA Solution "Status"
CRYSTAL RIVER, FL--(Marketwire - October 13, 2009) - Mobiform Software, Inc. (
Through the use of the Status Server and the new Status Management Console you have the ability to view data over the web and across domains using Silverlight, with no DCOM required. While learning typical HMI/SCADA applications can take weeks, users of Status have had compelling graphics and real time data published in as little as fifteen minutes. Status is truly the "Real Time, Real Easy"™ solution.
Status now includes the ability to create HMI projects that target Silverlight 2 or 3. With Silverlight 3 you have the option of creating projects in browser or as an out of browser application that will run directly on your desktop.
Status now has support for Alarming and Eventing. It's as easy as selecting the data source you want, choosing the tag you want to create an alarm or event for, and using the threshold wizard to define thresholds based on levels of severity. Alarms can be viewed and acknowledged from the Alarming control in both WPF and Silverlight projects generated from Status.
Status has also added the ability to log data items as well as alarming and event history. The Status Activity Logger is an HDA server, providing historical data to the Status trending control in both WPF and Silverlight.
The Status management console allows for configuration of the Status Server as well as the new Alarm Server and Activity Logger from one application. Not only can you configure servers on the current machine, the Status Management Console also allows configuration of servers across a network.
The Status Server has been enhanced to allow other Status Servers as remote data source. This allows the end user to monitor plant data from Florida, plant data from California, and display a project presenting data from both plants at a central location in New York.
