([ www.bearpwr.com ]) division has secured design wins from three major medical equipment manufacturers for custom, ultra-low leakage current power supplies to be used in heart-assist related medical equipment. BEAR's innovative isolation techniques yield leakage current of less than 5μA, exceeding the requirements for CF-rated medical equipment. The designs are AC/DC converters ranging from 14 Watts to 600 Watts. BEAR expects to begin production of these custom medical power supplies in Q2 09 at its manufacturing center in western New York.
