Exobox Promotes Kevin Regan to President and Chief Operating Officer

HOUSTON--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Exobox Technologies Corp. (OTCBB: EXBX), an information risk management and security solutions provider, today announced the promotion of Kevin Regan to president and chief operating officer. Robert Dillon, who previously served as president, CEO, and chairman of the board, will continue as Exobox CEO and chairman of the board and shareholder, providing leadership and long term strategy.

Regan was appointed as chief operating officer in December 2008 and has been instrumental in leading the company towards it upcoming initial product launch scheduled for spring 2009. Dillon says Regan was chosen as the new president because of his extensive track record in managing publicly traded companies for growth and profitability, launching new products and services into the market, and creating operational excellence.

Regan has been involved with Exobox since 2007, working to help the company with its January 2008 $2.95 million Private Placement Memorandum. He also helped select and recruit key Exobox management team members, Chief Technology Officer Ted Ernst and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Gary Leibowitz, and managed the opening of the Exobox corporate offices in Houston, Texas.

Regan currently sits on the board of directors of Powers Industrial Group, Inc., a national distributor of warehouse handling and inventory management equipment. Prior to joining Exobox, he was the founder and managing member of Genesis Financial Group, providing corporate finance, merger and acquisition advisory services. He also served as president of Performance Sound & Light, Inc., a provider of audio/visual design-build and entertainment management services to the U.S. Military. Regan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Houston.
