Dataram Doubles Memory to 64GB In Two Sun Servers, M3000 and X2250
PRINCETON, N.J.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Dataram Corporation (NASDAQ: DRAM), a leading provider of server and workstation memory, today announced double-density upgrades for Sun Microsystems' SPARC Enterprise M3000 and Sun Fire X2250 servers that expand to an industry leading 64GB of memory capacity. Until now, these servers were only available with up to 32GB of memory. Dataram is first to deliver the high capacity 8GB modules for these servers.
For the M3000 server, the DRSM3000/32GB memory upgrades consist of four x 8GB dual-rank PC2-5300, DDR2-667 Registered ECC DIMMs.
Two products enable twice the memory capacity in the X2250 servers. The DRSX4450/16GB consists of two x 8GB dual-rank modules, and the DRSX4450Q/16GB, an even lower cost alternative, features two x 8GB quad-rank capacity modules. Both products are PC2-5300, DDR2-667 speed FBDIMMs. Dataram has the engineering capability to provide a variety of products for every preference.
