Veraz to Hold Webinar Discussion Voice Services: A Key Driver for WiMAX Success
SAN JOSE, Calif.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--[ Veraz Networks, Inc. ], (NASDAQ:VRAZ), is conducting a webinar discussion on TMCnet.com concerning the current state of the WiMAX market and important architectural and design considerations service providers and systems integrators need to address when deploying voice services over WiMAX.
Service providers worldwide are deploying WiMAX networks to provide higher-speed IP-based services at a reduced CAPEX compared with wired network expansion. Moreover, WiMAX offers data-based providers a cost-effective way to enter the voice market and create new services bundles. The addition of voice services, however, results in challenges with maintaining call quality, network security and network interconnection—both TDM and IP.
