Exeros Rocks the Data Modeling World by Adding Profiling Capabilities to CA ERwin

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Exeros® Inc., the leading independent provider of cross-system data discovery, audit and remediation software, today announced that CA, Inc. (NASDAQ: CA), the market leading provider of CA ERwin® Data Modeler software, is distributing the Exeros X-Profiler™ software for inclusion in the CA ERwin product line. The integration of profiling into the CA ERwin suite will allow data modeling customers to automatically discover the data models of legacy systems and populate those models directly into ERwin Data Modeler. The CA version of the product will be sold under the CA ERwin brand.

Using Exeros X-Profiler's ability to analyze legacy data sources and automatically perform column analysis and discover primary-foreign key relationships, data modelers no longer have to manually reconstruct the data models for legacy systems that lack documentation. CA ERwin® Data Modeler users will immediately be able to take advantage of this new capability due to the out-of-the-box integration between the Exeros and CA products.

Exeros was selected by CA to be the sole provider of data profiling software to be sold under the CA ERwin product umbrella. Exeros has the only profiling solution that fully automates the discovery of primary-foreign keys and also performs cross-system overlap analysis. These advanced features were critical in the selection of Exeros X-Profiler by CA.
