U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced Monday that Micron Technology has finalized a $6.1 billion federal funding agreement through the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act to support the construction of a state-of-the-art memory chip facility in Central New York.
Micron Technology has been awarded $6.1 billion in funding from the CHIPS and Science Act to support the construction of a massive semiconductor manufacturing facility in Clay, New York, within the Central New York (CNY) region.
