Resignations John J. DeGioia, president of Georgetown University, will step down and return to the faculty after suffering a stroke in June. Henry C. Foley, president of the New York Institute of Technology, will step down in June 2025. Jerry Balentine, provost and executive vice president, will succeed him as president.
