Alcorn State University, a historically black college (HBCU) in Mississippi, is receiving a significant boost thanks to a newly awarded $3.7 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). This substantial investment will directly support the university’s efforts to enhance science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education for its students while simultaneously bolstering critical research initiatives focused on sustainable energy solutions.
