HSINCHU, Taiwan, Aug. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Bermuda) LTD. ("ChipMOS" or the "Company'') (Nasdaq: [ IMOS ]) today reported its unaudited consolidated revenue for the month of July 2011.

Revenue for the month of July 2011 was NT$1,427.2 million or US$49.4 million, a decrease of 6.5% from the month of June 2011 and a decrease of 10.2% from the same period in 2010. July's revenue decline is in-line with the current market environment and consistent with the guidance given by the Company on the second quarter conference call. To reiterate, for the third quarter of 2011, the Company currently expects revenue to be flat-to-down single digit as compared to the second quarter of 2011, while maintaining gross margin on a consolidated basis in the range of 4.0% to 9.0%. (All translations from NT dollars to U.S. dollars were made at the exchange rate of NT$28.88 against US$1.00 as of July 29, 2011.)
