Mobile Star in Advanced Negotiations With Publishers to Acquire Karaoke Song Rights -- NEW YORK, October 12, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --

NEW YORK, October 12, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mobile Star Corp. (OTCBB: MBST), a developer of karaoke vending machines, announced today that the company is inadvanced negotiations with major publishing entities to acquire the rights to reproduce hundreds of songs in its personal karaoke vending booths.

Signed agreements are anticipated before the end of 2010.

Negotiations with the publishers have been taking place for over a year, and represent one of the final hurdles to full commercialization of the Mobile Star personal karaoke experience, expected to be launched in the coming months.
