Jackson was previously CEO of Sourcefire (NASDAQ:FIRE) and Riverbed, two of the most successful technology startups of the past 10 years. Jackson has hand picked an experienced executive team that complements Sonatypea™s renowned technical team and will help further accelerate the companya™s growth. • Larry Roshfeld, Executive Vice President, responsible for the strategic direction, development and delivery of products. Roshfeld also served with Jackson at Riverbed as Senior Vice President of the Software Product Group. Previously, Roshfeld was an executive at Lotus Development, IBM and Manugistics, as well as at a number of successful startup companies. He has a proven record of delivering market-leading products in both private and public companies.
• Dave Miller, Chief Financial Officer, chartered with managing corporate financial activities. Prior to joining Sonatype, Dave was CFO of USinternetworking, a leading application service provider. He led USinternetworkinga™s financial efforts as it evolved from a start up to a $120 million entity acquired by AT&T. Prior to USinternetworking, Dave spent 10 years with Ernst & Young. Dave is a hands-on financial executive with significant experience in public and private companies as well as growth and restructuring environments.
• Patrick McBride, Vice President of Product Management, tasked with the implementation of repeatable, efficient, metric-driven product management processes. Before joining Sonatype, McBride served as interim CIO for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, was founder and CEO of Meta Security Group, and Service Director for Meta Group. McBride is experienced in developing, positioning and selling advanced technology and business solutions.
• Charles Gold, Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market share. Formerly the Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for the DataDirect unit at Progress Software Corporation, Gold helped fuel revenue growth from $35 million to nearly $100 million. Prior to DataDirect, Gold held executive marketing roles in both startup ventures and established industry leaders in both the open source and commercial software domains. Gold is a growth oriented software marketing executive with a proven ability to scale businesses of various sizes.
• David Crawford, Director of Sales, responsible for implementing and managing sales operations to drive business growth. With more than 25 years of experience, Crawford has built strong sales teams and exceeded quotas for companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Atria Software, Rational Software and Electric Cloud.
