CSG Systems Introduces Personalized Email Marketing Capabilities to Enhance Customer Interactions

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--CSG Systems (NASDAQ:CSGS), a leading provider of customer interaction management and billing solutions, today introduced its new Precision Email application to provide advanced, custom email communications that increase sales and improve overall customer relationships for service providers.

With Precision Email, CSG's clients receive a solution that allows them to create rich HTML email messages, tailored to individual customer profiles including personalized content based on a customer's geography, existing services, account status and more. The capabilities of CSG's Precision Email application will first be integrated into CSG Care Express, an award-winning online customer management solution that allows communications services providers to enable their customers to upgrade service packages, view and pay bills, and sign up for new services online. CSG will also extend Precision Email capabilities to its Output Solutions and Prairie Interactive Messaging offerings to ensure consistent customer interactions across multiple communication channels.

In addition, as part of CSG's recently announced definitive agreement to acquire Quaero Corporation, powerful customer intelligence capabilities, including advanced analytics that help a client to predict a customer's behavior and enable more innovative customer care and marketing strategies, will be integrated with Care Express to produce more timely and pertinent customer interactions through Precision Email as well as other Care Express applications.

Today, service providers leverage a variety of communication channels to contact their customers about new services, billing information, and promotional offers. Often, this information is delivered through static, non-customized text emails. Precision Email brings new strength to the e-communications channel by offering dynamic, customized messages that include branded ads for new products and services that, when selected, bring the reader directly to a personalized Web page, allowing them to buy new services tailored specifically for them. This can create new revenue streams through targeted cross- and up-selling and also optimize the online customer experience.
