Grand Venture Technology, A*STAR to develop advanced ceramics manufacturing platform
ASTAR Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (ASTAR SIMTech) will lead the development. Grand Venture Technology (GVT) has teamed up with the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) to develop a customised manufacturing platform for high-value advanced ceramics.
Grand Venture Technology (GVT) has partnered with A*STAR’s Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) to develop an advanced ceramics manufacturing platform. This collaboration aims to enhance the production of high-performance ceramics, which are crucial for applications in electronics, aerospace, and medical devices due to their superior properties like high strength, thermal stability, and corrosion resistance. The project will focus on improving the precision, efficiency, and scalability of ceramic manufacturing processes, leveraging A*STAR's expertise in materials science and GVT's capabilities in precision engineering. This initiative not only seeks to advance Singapore's manufacturing capabilities but also to position the country as a leader in the global advanced materials market.
