The Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching s the highest award K-12 math and science teachers can receive from the U.S. government.

An Osage, Iowa teacher, Mrs. Jennifer Burright, has been honored with the Presidential Excellence Award for Mathematics and Science Teaching. This prestigious award, which comes with a $10,000 grant from the National Science Foundation, recognizes her outstanding contributions to education in STEM fields.
