Jensen Huang, co-founder and CEO of Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), has been right about a lot of things. After all, you don't lead a business to generate revenue of more than $100 billion annually unless you've made some prescient decisions.

The article discusses a company named d-Matrix, which is challenging Nvidia's dominance in the AI chip market. d-Matrix, led by CEO Sid Sheth, is betting on a different approach to AI computing by focusing on digital in-memory compute technology, which they claim offers better performance and energy efficiency compared to Nvidia's GPU-based solutions. While Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang has expressed skepticism about the viability of alternatives to GPUs for AI, d-Matrix believes their technology can scale and meet the growing demands of AI workloads more effectively.
