Vishay Intertechnology Mourns the Loss of Eli Hurvitz

MALVERN, Pa.--([ ])--Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH), its Board of Directors, Management and Employees, mourn the passing of Eli Hurvitz, a member of Vishayas Board of Directors since 1994.

Mr. Hurvitz led Teva Pharmaceuticals as CEO from 1976-2002 and as Chairman of the Board from 2002-2010. Under his leadership, Teva became the largest generic pharmaceutical company in the world.
