Digital Angela?s Destron Fearing Unit Announces Supply Agreement and Initial Order

SO. ST. PAUL, Minn.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Digital Angel Corporation (OTCBB:DIGA), an advanced technology company in the field of animal identification and emergency identification solutions, announced today that its subsidiary, Destron Fearing, has become the exclusive provider of identification microchips and readers for The Brazilian Association of Breeders and Owners of Race Horses (ABCPCC).

The ABCPCC, headquartered in So Paulo, Brazil, is a non-profit agency of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply. The ABCPCC administers the Brazilian Stud Book, which is responsible for the genealogical control of English thoroughbred horses across Brazil. The ABCPCC has placed its first order for five thousand Destron Fearing Lifechipa" identification tags and five DTRa" readers.
