Wordlogic's handheld version of its patented software can now be utilized to accelerate the entry of text and information on all pocket PCs, smartphones and portable media centers.
WordLogic delivers predictive text solutions designed to accelerate the entry of text and information. Upon typing a letter the system offers the user a list of five completion candidates at a time, based on more than 50,000 dictionary entries, which can be rapidly selected and inserted into the text. The handheld version of the WordLogic predictive text software features a configurable keyboard Graphical User Interface (GUI) for touch-screen smartphones, new WordChunkingTM technology, fully customizable dictionaries and a number of innovative shortcuts designed to make text inputting even quicker and easier.
WordLogic's patented novel WordChunking Technology allows users to assemble large words with only a few input letters, enabling the user to type complex words quickly. For example, typing "go" will give the user a number of choices, including "govern". Selecting this will present a new list of words including "government". Highlighting "government" will then allow the user to choose from another selection of words such as "government-sponsored".
The resizable on-screen keyboard GUI interface features a familiar QWERTY layout, improved and simplified access to additional characters and function keys to ensure that WordLogic is an optimal solution for soft-keyboard users. Several clever shortcuts have been developed to make inputting even more efficient. WordLogic's software utilizes gesturing and sliding technology which enables users to perform common keyboard tasks, such as inputting spaces or deleting characters, with a simple motion of the handheld devices' stylus.
WordLogic's predicative keyboard is ideal for quickly writing emails on mobile devices and it works with all Microsoft Windows Mobile 5/6 compatible programs such, Microsoft Office Mobile, instant messaging programs, web browsers, Google search and Skype Mobile.
WordLogic Handheld is available in seven languages, including English, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. A sound alert and graphic icon is triggered whenever an unknown word is inputted so that the user can correct the word or add into the person dictionary.
