Cubic Expands Defense Office in Orlando

ORLANDO, FL--(Marketwire - June 9, 2010) - Cubic Corporation (NYSE: [ CUB ]) has expanded its presence in Orlando's Research Park to better serve its military and government clients.

Cubic's Defense Systems and Mission Support Services businesses have co-located business development and selected program management offices for the geographic convenience of their customers. The Research Park location will also serve as a focal point for the development of new Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) integration capabilities.

Cubic unveiled its combined offices to local government and military leaders during a June 8 open house that included a demonstration of Cubic's new COMBATREDI "virtual reality" system integrated with the VBS2 gaming engine. Cubic also highlighted its modeling and simulation skills, including its 1st Place award from the Department of Defense for innovation in wargaming and its successful Marine Corps Advisor Training program.

Cubic's current LVC efforts include the U.S.-Australia Joint Combined Training Capability and the Alaska Training Range Evolution Plan.
