WHAT:
This year's Design Automation Conference (DAC) will feature for the first time an OVM-UVM booth, with hourly talks by developers, partners and hands-on users of the Open Verification Methodology (OVM) and the Universal Verification Methodology (UVM), which was modeled after the OVM and recently released by Accellera as an industry standard. This booth will provide DAC attendees a single, convenient location to hear why the OVM became the industry's preferred verification methodology and to learn about the benefits and ease of transitioning from the OVM to the UVM. The booth will feature a daily joint OVM-UVM update from Cadence Design Systems and Mentor Graphics at 3 p.m. and a "Meet the Verification Experts" session at 4 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a social hour for verification specialists attending DAC.
